More Value Add Functionality in SAP B1 9.2
SAP continue to deliver additional value add for customers. The latest enhancement is the SAP Business One live collaboration solution – available in SAP Business One 9.2 patch level 6.
Background: The ability to communicate effectively with your peers is one of the core pillars to a well-run organisation. To deliver the best results to your customers all areas of the business need to be able to interact efficiently with clear messaging to ensure the “ship” is pointing the right direction. With the number of options available to communicate electronically growing ever so frequently an organisation needs to find a way of centralising communication so information isn’t lost or missed.
Solution: With the release of SAP Business One 9.2 Patch Level 6 a new feature is available that can be utilised to address internal communication. Called Live Collaboration the solution is an embedded instant messaging service within the SAP Business One interface that allows users to communicate with one another.
Similar to instant messaging services such as Skype the SAP Business One Live Collaboration tool available in SAP Business One version 9.2 allows for the real-time sharing of information between a pair of users or a group of users. You can establish user groups within Live Collaboration based on business units, department heads or a business process. This ensures that important information is broadcasted and consumed effectively.
