SAP Business One 9.2
General Release
We are glad to announce that SAP Business One 9.2 General Release, both on MS SQL and SAP HANA databases, is now available.

Update Price Lists
SAP Business One offers a new price update wizard. This great new feature allows for the global updating of prices and easy bulk price list updates.
Functionality includes:
- Systematically update item prices in price lists, mass convert prices into different currencies.
- Price update can be restricted to apply only for selected items, price lists, currencies and UoMs (unit of measure)
- Simulation mode allows you to preview changes.
Bin Locations
In SAP Business One 9.2 bin locations has been updated to give greater control of bin location requirements.
Functionality includes:
- Bin locations can be restricted according to the unit of measure (UoM) of items stored in the bin location.
- You can choose the following UoM restrictions:
- specific UoM
- single UoM only
- specific UoM group
- single UoM group only
- When posting goods receipts, restricted bin locations are only offered for selection.
Project Management
SAP Business One 9.2 offers enhanced project management functionality to help with the monitoring of tasks, phases and stages of a project. Reports can be run to manage the project stages, open issues and resources.
Functionality includes:
- Combines both financial and project management data in one solution.
- Centralize all project related transactions, documents, resources and activities in one place.
- Depending on the size and scope of a project, it can be split into different “Sub Projects” or “Phases” which may represent a functional area for example.
Browser access
The benefits:
- Device independent – run SAP Business One from any device, anywhere, anytime (smartphone, tablet, PC).
- No need for a VPN connection to get remote access.
- Reduce or eliminate the need for MS Terminal Services and / or Citrix licenses.
The 9.2 release of SAP Business One includes an HTML5 client which can be used to remotely access SAP Business One as an alternative to the current remote desktop method. Users of SAP Business One can access the application from a web browser using different devices (PC. Tablet etc.) without needing to first establish a VPN connection or other gateway access to their server. In addition, the web client has the potential to reduce or eliminate the need for Microsoft terminal server or Citrix licenses.
